This Week at Chic SPECIAL EDITION! 6/18/15

June isn't just for vacations (although some of us have been doing a little of that!!)...our admin team and designers have been hard at work behind the scenes planning and creating and we’ve got A LOT to tell you about in this "Special Edition" of This Week at Chic!  

 

 

First up is our Summer Showcase; it’ll be here before you know it (June 25-27), so mark your calendars and look out for sneak peeks on our Facebook homepage.  A boutique showcase offers you, the savvy boutique shopper, the opportunity to preview and “pre-order” new, exclusive styles from our designers that are not available anywhere yet (not even through the designers’ own shops or pages).  There will be limited spots offered, so you definitely need to get there early to put in your requests!

During our Summer Showcase event, we will be running a multi-vendor giveaway!   It’s going to be amazing and we’ve lined up prizes from TWELVE of our designers.  Prizes include dresses, outfits and gift certificates for some of our boutiques.   Make sure you join our new Facebook Fan Group so that you can take part in the giveaway and get all the latest info on what’s going on at Chic Threads & Things (because Facebook is silly sometimes and doesn't like to share from our "homepage " to your newsfeed, but members of our group get notified of all our happenings)!

 

 

We had a  couple of fun and successful events the past few weeks with our new “Pick My Price”  and "Throw Back Thursday" sales, so we thought we’d try out another new type of sale this week.  This one is called “Gimme 5 Friday” and it will be held on Friday June 19 on our Facebook homepage.

This Week at Chic 5/26/15

We hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and were able to spend time with people that you love. ..we’re a little late with This Week at Chic due to the holiday and other random life events like a power outage plus being the mom of an active toddler and not being able to stay awake past 7.30 pm some days!

 

We’re excited to announce the confirmed dates for our next showcase!  Mark your calendars for June 25-27!!  That’s Thursday to Saturday…we’re experimenting with different start/end days for our sales to see what works best for our fans.  During this event we’ll be showcasing our most spectacular new boutique styles and will be able to offer each item in multiple sizes or a range of sizes.    Look out for announcements and sneak peeks on our Facebook page!

 

We’re also working on something different for our “in between” weeks when we don’t have our big monthly events.

Becky Sue’s Bow And Sews has been all about end of school recently.  She made burlap door hangers for teacher gifts.  In between awards ceremonies, end of year concerts, recitals and field days, she found time to make something for herself for a change !!  Hopefully one of these days she'll get the chance to wear her new "Cherry Cosmopolitan" dress someplace nice!
