This Week At Chic 5.31.15

In addition to planning our showcase, we’ve got something NEW lined up for this week…it’s called “Pick My Price”!  Stay tuned to our Facebook page for an announcement very soon!

 

Most of our designers have children or grandchildren at home to care for and with the big kids out of school (or about to be) it’s harder to find time for sewing this time of year, but we have a few completed projects and some WIPs (Works In Progress) to share with you still.

Over at My Little Lady and Gentleman, Robin is working on something new for her page – we just love this adorable unicorn fabric, don’t you?

 

Jen of JM Crochet Dreamz has been working on this gorgeous purple butterfly blanket for a custom order.  This one’s sold, but check out her page for details on how to request a similar one.

 

Becky at Becky Sue’s Bow & Sews had fun with retro 1940s style head scarves this week – this is a kid-friendly sewing project and she had some help from her daughters.

 

 

Little Blessings by Brenda has been hard at work on this pretty ruffled ladybug shorts and top set for her #1 customer in New York.

This Week at Chic 5/26/15

We hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and were able to spend time with people that you love. ..we’re a little late with This Week at Chic due to the holiday and other random life events like a power outage plus being the mom of an active toddler and not being able to stay awake past 7.30 pm some days!

 

We’re excited to announce the confirmed dates for our next showcase!  Mark your calendars for June 25-27!!  That’s Thursday to Saturday…we’re experimenting with different start/end days for our sales to see what works best for our fans.  During this event we’ll be showcasing our most spectacular new boutique styles and will be able to offer each item in multiple sizes or a range of sizes.    Look out for announcements and sneak peeks on our Facebook page!

 

We’re also working on something different for our “in between” weeks when we don’t have our big monthly events. 

 

This lovely "hot off the hooks" crochet creation is called the "our little blessings blanket".  The boy blanket is white and blue.  Check it out at jm crochet dreamz.

 

 

We're corker crazy at Nini and Ash with some 4th of July clips!

Becky Sue’s Bow And Sews has been all about end of school recently.  She made burlap door hangers for teacher gifts.  In between awards ceremonies, end of year concerts, recitals and field days, she found time to make something for herself for a change !!  Hopefully one of these days she'll get the chance to wear her new "Cherry Cosmopolitan" dress someplace nice!

This Week at Chic 5/18/15

This week our designers have been doing their own things, but we played a military-themed trivia game on our page for "Armed Services Day" and behind the scenes we’ve been working on plans for our Summer Showcase.  This type of event is a chance for us to show off new and never-before-seen items that will be available in multiple sizes during the sale.  The date is tentatively set for  thelast weekend in June, but we’ll let you know once all the details have been pinned down (sewing pun, LOL!).

First up is Jennifer at JM Crochet Dreamz.  She’s been working on this lovely crochet teddy bear blanket.

 

 

My Little Lady and Gentleman’s Robin worked on a beautiful custom maxi dress this week – we are totally in <3 with this fabric and this dress is her most popular item so far in 2015.

 

 

 
Over at Nini and Ash, Kim’s been travelling in time again with these cute denim flat caps and cool 50s style petti skirts!

 

And then at Becky Sue’s Bow and Sews there was progress on something princessy-to-the-max that we can’t reveal just yet because it’s going to be in our Summer Showcase, but here’s a little peek!

This Week at Chic 5/2/15

We’re publishing a day early this week because tomorrow we’ll be busy turning our Facebook page red, white and blue for our #StarSpangledStyle sale!  It’s actually going to be an auction with BIN (Buy It Now) option, so we’re hoping for lots of action over the next two days!

 

 

We’ve been working the sewing machines extra hard this week to create lots of beautiful red, white and blue boutique styles and we really can’t wait to show you the fruits of our labor!  You’ll have to wait just a bit longer, but we do have at least one sneaky peek in the mix here if you scroll on down.
