It’s been an exciting week for the Chic Threads team. Monday and Tuesday we held our “Here Comes The
Sun” sale. We posted our first ever
video and it got a good response, so look out for more of those! We also welcomed some new team members behind
the scenes, but we can't introduce them officially until they're “trained in the ways of Chic”.
We can tell you that we're planning our next sale. The details aren’t final yet, but look out
for an announcement very soon (hint, the theme is relevant to an upcoming
holiday). We’re already doodling
pictures of outfits and thinking about fabrics for it! Ooooooooh, did someone say fabric???
First up from the designers, Kim from Nini and Ash has been
working on something for a graduation this week! School's
almost out for the year and this little kindergarten graduate has a video shoot
this week! I'm going to take this smile as a pretty good sign that she approves
of the outfit!
What better reason for a new dress than afternoon tea? This little number spent the afternoon at
Destiny Christian Center's Be-YOU-teaful ladies tea!
Becky from Becky Sue’s Bow And Sews has been dealing with a
sick child for most of the week, so not too much sewing going has been going on,
but she is working on one of these cute dino dresses for an Etsy customer and she
entertained her cranky tween daughters with some upcycling of holey-knee jeans
on a rainy afternoon this weekend.
Some imaginative themed creations have been coming out of Brenda
from Little Things by Brenda’s sewing room!
An “I Dream of Genie” inspired outfit and a little “Candy Land” outfit.
